Aanvraagindicatie: Verdenking op allergische bronchopulmonaire aspergillose (APBA)

ABPA wordt meestal veroorzaakt door antistoffen gericht tegen Aspergillus Fumigatus, maar soms ook tegen andere species zoals Asperigillus flavus. De ABPA diagnose is lastig te stellen en moet gesteld worden met een combinatie van klinische, radiologische en laboratorium technische bevindingen. Zowel de IgE als de IgG antistoffen tegen Aspergillus Fumigatus zijn als criteria opgenomen in de 'Cystic Fibrosis Foundation Consensus Conference's criteria for the diagnosis of APBA (2003)'
